Low Memory Be sure to quit all other applications before running Ruckus. Besides freeing up RAM, this will also improve the performance of the game. Some applications take up CPU time and will make Ruckus get sluggish and jerky. If you have only 8MB RAM on your computer, you can still experience most of the features of the game by turning off the extensions. The extensions on your computer take up a significant portion of your RAM. To increase your available RAM: Restart your computer while holding the Shift key.. This will turn off all your extensions. Restart your computer to reload all your extensions. NOTE: You may be able to turn on a few other extensions and still have enough RAM for maximum Ruckus. If you have less than 8MB total RAM on your computer, your CPU is probably too slow to run Ruckus anyways. Running Ruckus under Virtual Memory will probably result in a decrease in game performance.
